The Poconos

Hey there, everyone. It's been a while, but I had to share what happened this weekend. We went to the Poconos and I did all kinds of cool stuff. First, we went horseback riding. I got to ride my own horse along the trails, without any help. I also got to pet some kittens while I waited for my horse. Check out my hat!

Then, I took part in a pumpkin roll for Breast Cancer Awareness. I climbed all the way to the top of a big hill, then rolled a pumpkin and tried to get it into the net at the bottom. Daddy went first and missed with "Dracula 1.0". The poor thing exploded on the way down. But I showed him how it's done and made the goal on my roll.

To top it all off, we went to a waterpark, and I got to ride down a huge slide with Daddy. WE went over, and over, and over again. It was awesome!

Book for my classmates

Michael and Marcelo worked on the story and illustrations in this book. It was created to give as a gift to Marcelo’s classmates as a keepsake of their year together.

Michael made one by hand for each student and teacher in the class.

My First Spring Break

Here we are at the Philadelphia Please Touch Museum.

There is an entire room filled with a giant water table.

This room had things that people with special needs use.

This was my favorite, assembling a car. Mine was rocket-powered, of course.

Digging in a ball pit with a mini excavator.

Looking like Abuelito working on a car.

Then I went grocery shopping, just like mommy and daddy do.

My favorite, Italian ice.

Here I prepared lunch for mommy and me in the play restaurants. The hamburgers almost looked real.

Then it was back to work, on a construction site.

Now for some fun in the science games room.

Loved this one...the ball was floating in the air!

Oh, and the Alice in Wonderland section...girl stuff!

We still had time before Daddy finished class, so we went for a walk in Fairmount Park.

This was called The Forbidden Drive.

This is where Mommy had to stop taking pictures and hold on for dear life.

Mommy begged me not to go in here. She saw and heard someone on the other side. Let's just say it was creepy. We passed that guy up quick and now had to find a way down....not so easy and becoming more remote at every step.

So, after making it out alive we went to Philly U to wait among the other college students.

The Philadelphia Zoo

A pig snout tortoise.

The king cobra.

This was mommy's favorite, the blue-breasted kingfisher.
